Trucker News – Georgia issues fines for cellphone usage while driving
Effective July 1, 2018, Georgia will start implementing the hands-free law. Many truckers are already used to these types of laws and their harsh penalties in states like New York, and the picture featured below with a Montgomery County police officer, that resulted in the issuance of 56 citations in one day. No matter the amount of warning and stunts posed, inattentive or carefree drivers still get cited for using these devices while on the road. Well Georgia has joined the wagon. Please watch out for an imploding amount of officers from July 1, 2018, looking for violators.
These are illegal
